Situated in one of the oldest streets in Llangollen and a few seconds from the high street, Gales has 15 en-suite bedrooms. All our rooms are individually decorated and sympathetically restored in keeping with the historic character of the buildings.
All rooms can be double or single occupancy.
Wine and Food Bar
The wood panelled Wine Bar is the award winning centre of the business. Its character is largely unchanged from the original 9 table experience back in the 70’s. It now boasts 20 tables but still works on the foundations of simple home cooked food using the best local ingredients and wine expertly picked to offer the best range and value.
The menu based around fresh ingredients changes daily with lunchtime and evening specials.
Our extensive winelist boasts labels from around the world, many shipped directly, offering quality and value for money.
Paraphernalia Shop
Our new Wine Shop features an extensive range of wines and spirits, with something to be found for every taste and pocket. We also have a wide range of gift items from wine paraphernalia and exclusive glassware to kitchen gadgets, china, jewellery, games and gifts for men.
Conference Room
Gales offers all the facilities you need to hold a small informal conference or seminar. Whether you are just looking for a meeting room for the day, or you wish to combine your conference with a meal and overnight stay, we can cater for any package.
Holiday Cottages
Forget - me - not Cottages are two 400 year old properties on the banks of the River Dee. Both cottages have been recently restored to a high standard and retaining many original features.
