Forget - me - not Cottages
are two 400 year old properties on the banks of the River Dee
in the beautiful town of Llangollen, just a short stroll from the centre of town and an ideal
base from which to explore North Wales.
Number 21
No. 21 is a 4 star recently refurbished cottage. Although the property has been renovated
to an extremely high standard, the exposed beams and wattle and daub panels retain
the cottage charm of this old building.
On the ground floor the property has a light living room with underfloor heating and
widescreen TV. The underfloor heating continues through to the
kitchen and conservatory dining room. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge,
separate hob and oven, dishwasher and washer drier. The conservatory with dining table and sofa looks out over the outdoor dining area in the
patio garden with views over the river to Dinas Bran Castle.
The front bedroom has a double iron bedstead and wall mounted flat screen TV, the
shower room is just outside this bedroom. The en - suite back bedroom
has a 4ft bed, a single bed and a wall mounted flat screen TV.
The top floor has full central heating.
Number 23
No. 23 is a 3 star recently refurbished cottage. The living room has a wealth
of beams, an original slate floor and exposed stone wall and a woodburning stove.
Comfortable sofas and heavy drapes give this living room a cosy charm.
The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge, separate hob and oven, dishwasher and washer drier
and opens on to a patio garden with a raised decking area overlooking
the River Dee and Castle.
The main bedroom has a wooden half-tester bed while the smaller back bedroom
has a 4ft bed. There is a shower room serving both bedrooms and the cottage is
heated from a night storage system.
Number 9
No. 9 is our most recently refurbished cottage. The open plan ground floor has a living area with exposed
beams, a woodburning stove and a juliet balcony overlookin the river with viws of Dinas Bran Castle and the Llangollen bridge
The fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and separate oven and hob. The utility rom has a washing machine and tumble drier.
The main bedroom has a double bed while the smaller back bedroom
has twin single beds. Both bedrooms have flatscreen televisions, DVD players and iPod dock alarm clocks. There is a shower room serving both bedrooms.
There are two patio areas in this cottage, a courtyard to the front and patio overlooking the River to the rear.
